Título de la Tesis: ECOLOGIA Y ESTRUCTURA DE LAS COMUNIDADES DE MOLUSCOS Y CRUSTACEOS DECAPODOS EN LA ENSENADA DE PUERTO VIEJO, MAZATLAN, SINALOA
| - Resumen -
one hundred and seventeen species of mollusks representing at least 79 genera and 51 families and a total of 66 species of decapod crustaceans belonging to 414 families were collected in the intertidal and circalittoral zone of the Ensenada de Puerto Viejo, Mazatlán, Sinaloa.
The community structure of the malacological and decapod crustacean fauna was analyzed and relative abundance (Pi), dominance index (ID), diversity index (H') and similarity indes (S) were calculated for each group. A cluster analysis was applied using the values of the similarity index obtained for each group.
Diversity and dominance values for the communities indicated a high diversity and the results of the cluster analysis pointed out a clustered pattern in two subsystems (intertidal and circalittoral).
